TOUR START: 2 PM
2:00 PM: Pickup from your hotel and depart on a 1.5-hour drive through townships, villages, and paddy fields.
3:30 PM: Arrive at Kawa Kawa village and enjoy an afternoon snack while taking in the scenic view of the river.
4:20 PM: Prepare for your afternoon cruise. Put on your life jacket and board the boat. Cruise along the river in search of wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, macaques, and various types of birds.
5:30 PM: Return to the jetty for an early dinner. Afterward, take a short drive to the beach to enjoy the sunset.
6:45 PM: Head back to the jetty for the fireflies tour. Marvel at the sight of fireflies lighting up the trees like Christmas lights!
7:30 PM: Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city.
