Itinerary

DAY 1LAHAD DATU TO BORNEO RAINFOREST LODGE (L,D)

Picked up at the Lahad Datu airport and transfer to Borneo Nature front office which only around 5 minutes drive away. Register then overland transfer from there to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. this journey will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes on an uneven and gravel road. Along the way, enjoy this myriad landscape of millions year old primary rainforest where you may cross path with some wildlife if you’re lucky.

Check-in to Borneo Rainforest Lodge, meet your In-house tour guide for your tour briefing then enjoy your lunch.

Around 1500hrs, meet your guide for introduction walk around the vicinity. Get back to Lodge area, and Dinner served at 1900hrs. After dinner, enjoy a Night Drive safari on an electric buggy to see some nocturnal wildlife.

DAY 2BORNEO RAINFOREST LODGE OVERNIGHT (B,L,D)

Wake up to the ‘call’ of Bornean Gibbons and start your day with a buffet style Malaysian and Western cuisine. After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you at the main lobby to embark on a journey to the View point; where you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the millions year old virgin rainforest and the lodge area. Then you will also visits the Coffin cliff; a burial site of the Sugpan people who had been living at the area a long time ago. Trekking down the view point trail, make a stop at the natural jacuzzi pool for a refreshing dip before lunch at the lodge.

Lunch, and free at leisure

Around 1530hrs, went for another guided jungle trekking to spot some wildlife or if the weather permits, you may want to do a water tubing activities down the Danum River.

Dinner, Then guided night walk activity at the Nature trail, focusing more on a smaller mammals and insects.

DAY 3BORNEO RAINFOREST LODGE TO LAHAD DATU (B)

An early morning walk around the main road towards the canopy walkway to enjoy the morning mist. It is also the best time to observe the avifauna on an eye-level at the canopy walkway.

Get back to the Lodge for Breakfast and Free at leisure until lunch, you may take this opportunities to enjoy the Malaysian Massage from Jari-Jari spa (not included in the package) or you can walk around the self-guided Nature trail to enjoy the rainforest and river view.
