  • BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIESWe understand travel plans can change — here’s how deposits, cancellations, refunds, and postponements work when you book your adventure with us.

BOOKING AND FINAL PAYMENT

Daytrip Tours: A 10% deposit (or full payment) is required to confirm your daytrip booking. You can pay securely through our website or in cash at our office.

Multiday Tours: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your multiday tour booking. The balance payment must be made at least 30 days before your tour date. If the final payment is not received by the due date, your booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

CHECKING AVAILABILITY

Once you submit your enquiry, we will reply to you by email within 24–48 business hours. For faster replies, feel free to WhatsApp us at +60 12 918 8905 — we usually respond within 24 hours.

CANCELLATION BY GUEST

• Cancel 45+ days before your tour date: 100% refund (minus any bank or credit card fees)
• Cancel 30–44 days before: 80% refund
• Cancel 15–29 days before: 50% refund
• Cancel within 7 days or no-show: No refund

Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of receiving your written request.

CANCELLATION BY GIBBON ADVENTURE

If we must cancel your tour for reasons like bad weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you an alternative arrangement or a full refund if you choose not to accept the alternative.
If we cancel because the balance payment is not received by the due date, your deposit will be forfeited.

TOUR POSTPONEMENT

You may postpone your tour date, subject to availability and any additional costs.

If your new tour or accommodation is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference. If it is cheaper or on a promotion, no refund will be given for the price difference.

REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICE

No refund will be given for any unused portion of a tour or services once your trip has started.

POSSIBLE CHANGES

Itineraries, schedules, and rates may change due to local conditions, availability, or safety reasons. We always do our best to inform you of any changes in advance.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND INSURANCE

Guests are responsible for making sure they have valid passports, visas, permits, and any other travel documents required for the trip.

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

AIRFARE

Airfare or flight tickets are not included in your tour price unless clearly stated otherwise. We are not responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations by airlines.
