The full day hike to Menara (Tallest tropical tree) was truly rewarding led by Andrew and Ezra. Short hike to ancient burial site brought history alive, ie the orang sungai. During the final activity which was the night walk, a Tasier was spotted at eye level a couple of metres from the trail at the very beginning and the walk ended with the sighting of a barn owl. Danum valley is truly a world class destination due to easy sighting amongst its
abundance wildlife under active conservation.
